Are you our next Construction Capital Projects Manager? We are currently seeking a Manager, Construction Capital Projects for our FishHawk, Florida location. The Manager, Construction Capital Projects is responsible for the development of guidelines and procedures for general construction activities associated with the execution of capital projects in an industrial manufacturing environment. This position will maintain broad oversight over the construction phase of projects including conducting constructability reviews with the project teams to determine process and procedure thru to construction in a safe and efficient manner. What will you do? Manage and oversee the construction phase of capital projects to include finalization of design, contracting and installation of projects. Provide construction guidance and support to Mosaic capital project teams and contractor services Develop guidelines for general construction activities and practices within Mosaic Phosphates. Determine internal & external support needs & costs Develop KPIs to measure value for best practices in construction management within Mosaic. Acquire appropriate approvals prior to submitting letters of intent and/or purchase orders. Evaluate all RFP's and approve PO's. Responsible for proper project invoice management. Provide oversight for support personnel acting as construction coordinators in the field on capital projects under construction. Develop working relationships with contractors and construction organizations as necessary to stay on the cutting edge of best practices. Work closely with the safety department and project teams to further our relentless pursuit of an accident free workplace Responsible for communicating the status of compliance. Responsible for ensuring adequate training of area personnel. Responsible for conducting audits and ensuring completion of safety audits, lockout audits, housekeeping tours in accordance with Safety Performance Indicators and Environmental Index. Position Requirements: What do you need for this role? Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science and/or Engineering is required. 20 years of experience in Industrial Construction Management, construction project management, cost control and scheduling may be considered in lieu of degree 10 years minimum experience in Industrial Construction Management, construction project management, cost control and scheduling is required. Industrial experience in refining, chemicals or mining considered a plus Strong presentation skills are a must Construction Management (CII or similar) certifications are preferred Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook are required Prefer experience in Microsoft Project, Primavera, and SAP Strong leadership qualities, proven project/construction management experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to influence others is a must for this role Physical work environment is frequently outdoors and exposed to varying temperatures from below 32 degrees to above 85 degrees Fahrenheit The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
