Job Description Sales Representatives are responsible for selling personal lines insurance through the escrow lead system and seeking out new clients and developing relationships with Escrow Officer, Lender and Real Estate Agents. The sales agents will review risk for eligibility, brush approval and replacement cost calculations. They will be knowledge in the underwriting guidelines for all carriers we are appointed to.
SALES AGENT DUTIES
. Meet or exceed required individual monthly sales goal
. Complete required sales lead calls
. Assist inbound callers
. Follow up on all applications for closing
. Follow up on all cancellations, non renewals
. Complete all TAM activities daily
. Calculate insurance premiums
. Determine customers insurance needs
. Sell, ask for the close
. Prioritize work load within the department, balance assignments as needed
Job Qualifications . High School diploma or equivalent
. Minimum of 2 years experience selling personal lines insurance
. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of company policy processing system, SIS, TAM, Enterprise, FSC, Quomation
. Demonstrated strong comprehension and analytical skills
. Demonstrated in depth knowledge of all insurance carriers (P&C Travelers Safeco RLI Geovera UNA Foremost) underwriting requirements
. Demonstrated in depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel
. Ability to interact constructively with team members, other departments and external contacts as needed
. Strong verbal and written communication skills
. Demonstrated self-starter and well organized
. Must have current fire and casualty license
% of Travel Required <10%
